ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Born in Salt Lake City, Sue Simonich grew up exploring the mountainous terrain of Utah. Her writing is inspired by the Mountain West's ever changing pallet of color, majestic landscapes, and varied historic cultures. Her ancestors were indigenous people and Mormon pioneers who settled the state in 1847.
She matriculated at Portland State University studying graphic design and English, then she headed home to the University of Utah where she earned a B.A. in art history. Her studies ignited her love for history.
A student of horticulture and herbal medicine, she is interested in a wide range of subjects. Currently she is working on several projects, both fiction and non-fiction. She has designed and published websites, blogs, newsletters, and books on family history.
